In the heart of Richmond, Virginia, there stood a cozy little candle store that had captured the hearts of candle enthusiasts far and wide. Its name? C&G Luxury Candles.
It all started in 2016, when Joe Coleman made a life-changing decision to invest in a small candle company. At first, it was just a flicker in the retail space, but Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit brought new energy to the business.
As the years passed, Joe took charge of marketing, boosting sales and growing the customer base. Demand grew, and Joe took it upon himself to master candle-making experimenting with scents and designs until he became an expert.
Even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company thrived. Through vendor events across the East Coast and expanding online, the brand held strong, proving its resilience and dedication to quality.
A chance meeting in Philadelphia introduced Joe to the concept of a Candle Making Venue an idea that sparked his imagination. In 2022, during a meeting at Stony Point Fashion Park, Joe discovered that a former Yankee Candle store space was available. It was the perfect opportunity.
After months of planning and hard work, C&G Luxury Candles officially opened its doors. With a mission to create not just products but experiences, every candle is crafted with care from reusable glass jars to coconut-soy wax blends that burn clean and long.
Just a month after opening, the business faced unexpected setbacks and temporarily closed. But from adversity came a new beginning.
Joe and his new partners came together with shared vision and passion. They rebuilt the brand with a bold new identity an upscale candle-making venue with unmatched energy.
Today, C&G Luxury Candles is more than a shop. It’s a sanctuary for creatives, a gathering space for friends, and a hands-on escape from everyday life. Through innovation, artistry, and community, Joe and his team continue to light the way for candle lovers everywhere.
